10. With a sanding block and 200 grit sandpaper, rub up the putty in a circular motion, keeping some putty above the metal surface.

11. Applying 400 grit paper, you next plan to sand thoroughly down to the good metal around the defective region, using clean motions and mild force. You can swap to 1000 grit if you choose and the texture will be even better. Replace your sandpaper when it clogs.
