Yoda Dog Costume - Halloween Pet Safety Examples

Untitled

Call it Halloween, Allhallows eve, or even The other halloween known as Walpurgis Night, but that's another tale for a an

other time. Have you ever noticed, for whatever reason, countless people go a little overboard on Allhallows. Keeping your pets out-of-doors for Hallowe'en is just not safe these days. Here are some mutt safety concepts for this Allhallows.

Unluckily, there are plenty of folk tales where animal companions have been abducted, taunted, physically or mentally injured, mutilated and even murdered on Halloween night.

Maintain your dogs and cats in the garage for Halloween.

If you don't already comprehend, keep candies out of reach your pets. They may plop their chin on your leg and give you the sad eyes and nag for one of your snacks. Never give in. Remember that feeding

chocolate to pets can be lethal in any quantity.

Preferably, make some home made creature treats. When you or your kids are binging on the Halloween junk food, give your pet one of their healthy treats. So why not give them a warm fuzzy and will stop them from giving you the puppy dog eyes.

Be cautious with the wrappers from the candies. They can be lethal if they get stuck in your pet's entrails. It can make them very sick, and in some cases even cause death.

Should you have a litter of kttens during hallowee, don't give black cats to anyone during the month of October. Not surprisingly, there are some demented individuals who will buy black cats in order to destroy them.

Make sure you don't have any open flames around the home. Dressing your critter in a costume can be a hoot. Do not forget that unless your critter is open to the idea of wearing a costume, you should not make them do it against their will. They can be anguished, restrictive and even cause stress in a pet that doesn't want to wear one. Remember, there are a lot of people in our cities running around and lots of crazy things going on. You pets are going to be under enough stress already. If your pet looks fearful or annoyed in their new outfit, either remove it immediately, or take it off after you've taken a few images for family and friends to show them how homely your pet looked.

Masks on your pet may sound like a dynamite concept...for you! Animals rely on their eyesight to let them know what's happening around them. If you constrain their vision, they may freeze up or get scared more easily, making them more apt to bite at at a person. If you do decide to torture your poor pet with a disguise, just make sure that you give them very big eye holes so that you don't constrain their eyesight.

If your creature can not handle being around a lot of strangers, put them in a nice, quiet bedroom for the evening. That way they won't bolt out the front door when you're handing out sweets. Furthermore, if you're having a celebration, you won't have to worry about anyone hurting or vexing your pets. Give them some food and water, and look at them systematically to make sure that they all right.
